Hello, isn't it nicer when you have a face to the name?

I am Niki, owner, Nail Artist and Educator at Niki's Nails and Nail Academy.

In the picture you can see my two beautiful girls Mia and Milli who are the reason I retrained in my 30s in nails and my husband Nick, yes we're Nick and Niki! That gorgeous backdrop is Snowden and we are on our descent.

I started Niki's Nails on the 18th August 2021 after qualifying in Manicure, Pedicure, Gel Polish, Acrylic, Hard Gel, Builder Gel, Extensions, Sculpting and Efile. Although I now only offer Gel services and Pedicure.

​

In 2025 I started sharing my passion for nails with the next generation of nail techs and have offered several bespoke 1-2-1 and small group in person accredited courses as well as an online Nail Art course for Beginners.

2026 saw me writing and having my own courses accredited, getting to teach all my own material is incredible, I know there is no outdated information or gaps in theory as I wrote it and it will be updated as science and knowledge progress too ​​.

My business started as mobile and it blossomed into the beautiful business it is today very quickly! I couldn't offer enough appointments being mobile so I moved into my friends salon Part-time. It wasn't long before demand meant I needed to go Full-time at the salon.

 

In 2024 I moved my salon home to give me a better work life balance. I'm now located next to Salesian College in North Camp. I have parking on my drive and wheel chair access available. I will continue offering incredible nail services in 2025 but also adding teaching to my skill set. Courses will be held either in my home salon or online.

As I work from my home please be aware after school and during school holidays my children will be around. Well behaved children are welcome and mine would love to play. Whilst my children are around disruption to services is minimal, they are not rude so expect a greeting. We are an animal loving household and do have 2 cats, Ron you are unlikely to meet however Dave is super social and is also likely to greet you, they can be shut in another part of the house if necessary, please let me know.
